Photax I

What an interesting little camera this is! A bakelite beauty from 1937! Extremely simple, apart from when I tried to insert 120 film into it, just to find out that 620 film spools have slightly narrower edges… nothing a nail clipper didn’t solve, but pleased to have had the chance to use this camera.

The results are surprisingly good, considering this thing has 2 aperture settings (1 = f/11 and 2 = f/16) and 3 speeds, 100, 25 and Bulb! No focus rings, not even a lens focal length, although seems to be around 80mm.
