Pentacon Six TL

The Pentacon Six TL is a medium format SLR famed for its excellent Carl Zeiss lens lineup. However, these cameras are known for three common issues: the shutter curtain sticking at certain speeds, a faulty exposure counter, and inconsistent frame spacing.

Unfortunately, mine has all three problems, including two frames lost on the first roll due to excessive spacing. While the counter is more of an inconvenience, the shutter and spacing issues will need proper repairs before I can rely on it. That said, the images I’ve managed to get so far are sharp and impressive enough to make me want to restore this classic.
